To only get the usage info for disk for load indicator upto most recent 15 mintues, use dstat -disk -fs -load command. This will allow you to see which processes are hogging the most memory at a quick glance, and you can continually monitor their usage. To sort the programs in top by memory usage, press Shift+m while running top.
